Water Treatment System

Even the best drinking water is far from being good aquarium water.
In order to use it as a habitat for fish and plants in the aquarium,
it must be adequately treated. The Dupla water treatment system
comprises all the components that turn tap water into ideal aquarium
water by optimising the water hardness or removing compounds
that are harmful to mucous membranes, such as chloride. Many
metabolites and organic water pollutants that might at first seem like
harmful substances to us serve as food for bacteria. Even aquarium
filters are merely a technical aid supporting the work of active
bacteria. Dupla offers bacteria preserved in a special process in a
liquid medium or spray-dried on a base material that decompose
compounds such as nitrogen and protein.
