Water purifying agent for the removal of turbidity causing substances and floating algae in freshwater and saltwater aquaria and garden ponds.
When installing aquaria and garden ponds a varying degree of pollution caused by gravel stones, roots and other decorative items will occur. In the initial phase not yet fully operational filters, too, will discharge muddying and clouding matter into the water. At this stage it is often difficult to totally remove colloids (protein substances), floating algae and other pollutants with conventional filtration systems. At this point Aqua Crystal is an excellent water purifying agent. It is able to bind and precipitate the least turbidity causing substances. Under strong water movement it will distribute evenly within the water. Once Aqua Crystal encounters polluting matter, a compound develops in the form of a flake. This flake changes its size. It becomes smaller and denser, thereby increasing its specific weight. The flake, laden with all clouding particles, will sink to the bottom. At this point the flakes can be absorbed and retained by any filter apparatus. Also, the flakes can now easily be siphoned off from the aquarium floor. No more than 5 l of suction water are required in a 300 l aquarium. The result of this very interesting process is crystal-clear aquarium water.
10 ml per 500 l of water.
Should precipitation fail to occur due to specific water qualities, dosage may be increased by up to 50 %. Precipitation is visible within minutes, with strong purification of water and formation and separation of flakes as well as sedimentation occurring.
