Dupla Ground Nature Black River Sand brings the fascinating look of natural river and riverside landscapes straight into the aquarium. Its deep black colour is reminiscent of mineral river sediments and creates a particularly elegant contrast.
Plants, roots, stones and fish are shown off to great effect on this dark substrate, and their colours appear significantly more intense.
The fine, clay-free natural sand, with a grain size of 0.18–0.4 mm, forms a pleasantly soft substrate and is ideal for bottom-feeding and ground-dwelling fish species. At the same time, the fine structure allows for a natural-looking layout and gives the aquarium a harmonious, authentic appearance.
Black River Sand is low in dust and free from chemical additives. As a natural substrate, it contains a small proportion of calcium minerals, which may slightly affect water parameters depending on the volume and quality of the water.
